Visit the Municipal Property Assessment Corporation (MPAC) to learn more about the value of your property. MPAC conducts assessments every four years and then updates the value of properties in the province as part of Ontario's assessment cycle. We use these assessments to help determine our property tax rates.

To establish a property's assessed value, MPAC analyzes sales of comparable properties in the property owner's area and all the key features that affect market value. This method, called Current Value Assessment, is used by most assessment jurisdictions in North America.
