June is Recreation and Parks Month in Stouffville
June is Recreation and Parks Month (J.R.P.M.), is an annual community mobilization movement that takes place in parks, schools, recreation centres, and neighbourhoods all across Ontario.
By celebrating J.R.P.M., the Town of Stouffville aims to promote healthy and active living for all residents and increase awareness of the value and important benefits that recreation and parks provide to individuals, families, and communities.
Enjoy June to the fullest with family, friends, and the great outdoors! There is something for every age offered throughout the month to stay active and make memories including drop-in for swimming, skating, basketball, yoga, shinny, and more at the Leisure Centre. Take the whole family to discover the beauty of Stouffville’s trails and the York Regional Forest — whether hiking, biking, or walking, explore the flora and fauna that make our trails special. Continue to make the most of the month by visiting one of our many parks which feature playgrounds, spray pads, green space, sports fields, and courts!
Stay fit and have fun this month and all summer long! For a full schedule of activities, visit townofws.ca/jrpm.
