Statement regarding Union Negotiations between the Town of Stouffville and Teamsters 419

The Town of Stouffville is currently engaged in ongoing union negotiations with Teamsters 419. 

Negotiations are an essential part of ensuring that the needs and priorities of both employees and the organization are addressed fairly and transparently. While it’s natural for differing perspectives to arise during this process, we remain focused on achieving an agreement that supports our staff while meeting our operational responsibilities to the public.  Constructive dialogue is key, and we are actively engaging with union representatives to listen, understand, and work toward practical solutions.

The Town of Stouffville does not comment on personnel matters.  We respect all those involved, and as an organization, we are committed to fostering a positive, respectful, and collaborative working environment for all employees.
