Town of Stouffville Welcomes Becky Jamieson as Director of Corporate Services and Town Clerk
The Town of Stouffville is pleased to announce the hiring of Becky Jamieson as the new Director of Corporate Services and Town Clerk.
Jamieson joins Stouffville from the Township of Scugog, where she served as the Director of Corporate Services and Clerk. She played a pivotal role in enhancing governance practices, implementing digital solutions, and conducting the recent municipal election. Prior to that, she served as the Municipal Clerk at the Township of Brock, where she demonstrated exemplary leadership in managing council operations, policy development, tourism, and economic development activities.
As the Director of Corporate Services and Town Clerk, Jamieson will oversee a wide range of essential functions, fulfilling the statutory duties of the Municipal Clerk, and providing leadership to the Town’s Information Technology and Municipal Law Enforcement areas.
