Septic Systems

Once you have received a building permit in the Town of Stouffville, you’ll need to schedule inspections at various stages of construction. The inspection requirements for your project are listed on your building permit. It is your responsibility to book the required inspections once your project starts.

To request a building inspection, email us at building.inspections@townofws.ca or give us a call at 905-640-1900 ext. 2280 with the following information:

• Address of the inspection site
• Name and phone number of person who will be on site to meet the inspector
• Permit number
• Type of inspection you are requesting

Please provide at least two business days’ notice when booking an inspection. An inspector will contact you at the number provided to confirm the date and approximate time of the inspection.
