Residential properties will continue to have curbside Blue Box collection; it will just be provided by Circular Materials instead of the Town.

• Collection frequency: Recycling will be picked up every other week instead of weekly.
• Automated collection: Recycling carts will be collected using trucks with mechanical arms, replacing manual collection by collectors. Share your thoughts about automated collection in this survey.
• You will still put your Blue Box out at the curb, as usual.
• Your collection day or accepted materials may change slightly.
• New recycling carts: Residents will receive a 95-gallon (360 litre) wheeled cart for recycling. More details to follow on when your new cart will be delivered.

If your business operates from your home and you currently receive regular residential curbside collection:

• Your waste will continue to be collected under the residential program only (maximum 3 bags per bi-weekly collection, blue and green bin collection).

If your business is not located in the Main Street area or in a residential home, the Town will no longer provide waste collection starting on December 31, 2025; you are responsible for arranging private collection.

The Town will continue to collect the following for residential properties:

• Garbage
• Green bin (organics)
• Yard waste
• Christmas trees
• Bulky or large items

These services are not affected by the provincial changes and will continue to be offered to residential properties after December 31, 2025.
