Improper disposal of a lithium-ion battery could harm a waste collector. It is imperative that lithium-ion batteries be dropped off at a local depot or at one of our facilities.

You can drop off your batteries in the battery recycling bins provided at the following facilities:

• Leisure Centre, located at 2 Park Dr.
• Municipal offices, located at 111 Sandiford Dr.
• Stouffville Arena, located at 12483 Ninth Line
• Stouffville Clippers Complex, located at 120 Weldon Rd.

You need to put batteries in a storage bag before recycling them. To request that we mail you battery storage bags, please email us your mailing address with your postal code.
