Stouffville Welcomes Provincial Action to Strengthen Municipal Enforcement of Illegal Land Uses
The Town of Stouffville welcomes the Province of Ontario’s proposed legislative changes under Bill 10: Protecting Ontario’s Streets and Communities Act, 2026, which would provide municipalities with stronger and more efficient tools to address illegal land uses and zoning by-law violations.
Notice of Temporary Lane Reductions: Stouffville Road between McCowan Road and Highway 48
Stouffville Road between McCowan Road and Highway 48 will be reduced to one eastbound lane during active work. York Region will be completing a deficiency repair as part of the Stouffville Watermain Emergency Project.
Road Closure Notice: Hoover Park Drive
As part of the Whistle Cessation Upgrades project, the Town’s Contractor, Lyncon Construction Inc., will be closing Hoover Park Drive from Ken Laushway Avenue to Ninth Line.

Notice of Construction: Road Preservation - Various Locations (Towns of Aurora, East Gwillimbury, Newmarket and Whitchurch-Stouffville)
York Region is applying a road preservation treatment, called microsurfacing, to various locations.
