Notice of Intent to Designate 14205 Woodbine Avenue "Preston House"
The Council of the Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville intends to designate 14205 Woodbine Avenue, in the community of Preston Lake, under Section 29 of the Ontario Heritage Act, as being a property of cultural heritage value at the Council meeting held on November 5, 2025 at 1pm.
Sugar Maple Park Courts Maintenance

Mail Service Delays Due to the Canada Post Strike
Due to the Canada Post strike, mail service to and from the Town of Stouffville will be delayed. This includes, but is not limited to, the issuance of public planning, construction notices and by-law infractions.
Notice of the Passing of By-law 2025-068-DS Designating 15223 Highway 48 under Part IV of the Ontario Heritage Act
The Council of the Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville passed By-law 2025-068-DS to designate the following property as a property of cultural heritage value or interest pursuant to the provisions of the Ontario Heritage Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chapter O.18, Part IV, Section 29.
Notice of Complete Application and Public Meeting for Proposed Plan of Subdivision and Zoning By-law Amendment
The Town has received complete applications for a Draft Plan of Subdivision and Zoning by-law Amendment to consider the development of 20 rear-loaded freehold townhouse units on a vacant lot within the Community of Stouffville.
Notice of Construction - Memorial Park Trail Connection
Construction on the new Memorial Park Trail Connection, located west of Thicketwood Boulevard, is scheduled to begin in September 2025 and continue through June 2026. Work will take place on weekdays, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. During this period, entry to Memorial Park will be closed to the public.
Old Elm Go Edward Street Entrance Closure – August 28
On August 28, the Edward Street entrance to the west parking lot will be closed due to a road rehabilitation project. The Main Street entrance at Stouffville GO will be temporarily re-opened for customer vehicle access.

The Town has received a Complete Application for Combined Official Plan and Zoning By-law Amendments for 5061 Stouffville Road. Public Meeting Date is to be determined.
Closure Notice: Leisure Centre Facilities
Annual maintenance at the Leisure Centre requires several closures over the coming weeks, including the Fitness Centre, Gymnasium, and Pool. Thank you for your patience as we make these improvements to the Leisure Centre.
