Notice of Construction - Memorial Park Trail Connection

Construction on the new Memorial Park Trail Connection, located west of Thicketwood Boulevard, is scheduled to begin in September 2025 and continue through June 2026. Work will take place on weekdays, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. During this period, entry to Memorial Park will be closed to the public.

Old Elm Go Edward Street Entrance Closure – August 28

On August 28, the Edward Street entrance to the west parking lot will be closed due to a road rehabilitation project. The Main Street entrance at Stouffville GO will be temporarily re-opened for customer vehicle access.

Closure Notice: Leisure Centre Facilities

Annual maintenance at the Leisure Centre requires several closures over the coming weeks, including the Fitness Centre, Gymnasium, and Pool. Thank you for your patience as we make these improvements to the Leisure Centre.

The Council of the Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville intends to designate 15223 Highway 48, in the community of Ballantrae, under Section 29 of the Ontario Heritage Act, as being a property of cultural heritage value at the Council meeting held on September 17, 2025 at 1pm.
