Mayor & Council Announce Town Hall Series to Engage with Residents across all Six Wards
Mayor and Council have announced a series of Town Hall meetings happening in each of the municipality’s six wards to enhance engagement with town residents. These meetings will be structured to facilitate constructive dialogue and ensure that residents have an opportunity to have their voices heard.

Stouffville Summer Camp Registration Now Open
The Town of Stouffville is pleased to announce that summer camp registration opened on Tuesday, February 6 for the 2024 season. With a diverse range of engaging activities and programs, the Town aims to provide children and youth with a memorable and enriching summer adventure.
Open House: Additional Residential Units
The purpose of this Public Consultation Session on March 4, 2024, is to seek public input to inform zoning regulations to enable up to (3) Additional Residential Units (ARUs) on fully serviced residential lots as required to bring the Town’s Zoning By-law into conformity with Bill 23, the More Homes Built Faster Act, 2022.
Notice: Millard Street Closure
A portion of Millard Street between Braith Crescent and Waite Crescent will be closed on Tuesday, February 13 from approximately 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. for sanitary lateral repair within the roadway. The closure is expected to be in place for one day.
Open House: Heritage Conservation District Plans and Guidelines
Draft Plans and Guidelines for three proposed Heritage Conservation Districts centred around O’Brien Ave, Church St, and West Main Street will be brought forward at an open house on January 31, 2024 from 5 - 7:30 p.m. at 19 on the Park (19 Civic Avenue). This will be an opportunity to ask questions of the project team, keep up to date with progress, and review and provide input on the policy documents.
New Park on Baker Hill Boulevard
Exciting news! A new park is planned for 401 Baker Hill Blvd, Stouffville, approved by the Council and designed by Northern Lights Landscape Architects. Join the community in shaping features like play areas, courts, seating, and pathways. Share your thoughts on January 25, 6:30 pm at Town Hall (111 Sandiford Drive), Ringwood Room.
Town Declares Surplus Land on Ninth Line
At a Council meeting on Wednesday January 17, Stouffville Council deemed a parcel of land near the corner of Ninth Line and Main Street surplus. The vacant lands have been declared surplus and are offered for sale at market value. The subject lands are composed of three contiguous parcels of land with a total site area of 0.587 acres (0.2375 hectares/2,374.8 square metres).
