Notice of Project Transition
The Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville is transitioning the Pedestrian Crossing and Pathway project based on the amended Municipal Class Environmental Assessment process (2023). The Pedestrian Crossing and Pathway project commenced in November 2022 as a Schedule B project when the Town proposed a trail and walking/cycling bridge over Little Rouge Creek to connect Ken Betz Court with Madori Park and the Millard Street West Trail.
Notice of Public Information Centre - Reconstruction of O'Brien Ave.
The Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville is undertaking the detailed design for the reconstruction of O’Brien Avenue. O’Brien Avenue is planned to proceed to construction in 2024. The Public Information Centre (PIC) is being held on December 14, 2023, to introduce the project overview, proposed design for O’Brien Avenue, and gather community feedback about proposed work.

Notice of Temporary Water Shut Off for Lloyd Street Reconstruction
Lloyd Street has a temporary water shut-off scheduled for Friday, November 24: Phase 1: Lloyd Street, from Burkholder Street to Rose Avenue, will be shut off from 8am – 3pm. Phase 2: Lloyd Street, from Burkholder Street to Rose Avenue, will be shut off from 12pm – 6pm.
Spreading Holiday Cheer: Linda Mainprize Toys for Tickets Program returns along with Food & Toy Drive
Stouffville’s Linda Mainprize Toys for Tickets program has returned, allowing residents to donate toys and gifts in lieu of paying a parking ticket. This program is in conjunction with the Whitchurch-Stouffville Fire & Emergency Services Department collecting donations for the Whitchurch-Stouffville Food Bank and supporting the Stouffville Lions Club Toy Drive as one of their recognized drop-off locations.
Notice of Pavement Marking at Town Roundabouts
The Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville has awarded the contract for Pavement Marking at Town Roundabouts to McGuinness Coatings Ltd. The work consists of refreshing yield line markings and extending the centre and edge line markings.
