Stouffville Sounds the Call for a New Town Crier

Hear ye, hear ye! The Town of Stouffville seeks an enthusiastic and community-minded individual to take on the historic and symbolic role of Town Crier. This tradition, which dates back centuries, once served as the primary means of sharing public announcements. Today, the position remains a cherished symbol of civic pride and community heritage. The selected Town Crier will serve as a ceremonial ambassador, representing Stouffville at official events, community festivals, and civic celebrations. With bell in hand and voice raised, the Crier will add a touch of tradition and pageantry to Town functions.

Notice of 55+ Club Closure

The 55+ Club at 6240 Main Street will be temporality closed from Wednesday June 25 through Sunday June 30 for scheduled facility maintenance.

Town of Stouffville Unveils New Neighbourhood Park

The Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville officially opened Sugar Maple Park at 401 Baker Hill Boulevard today. Featuring inclusive play areas, sports courts, and scenic green space, the park was designed with community input and accessibility in mind.

Notice of GO Transit Service Changes – Stouffville Line

June 19, 2025

GO Transit service on the Stouffville line will be temporarily adjusted from July 4 to 6, 2025, to support construction of the East Harbour Transit Hub. GO buses will replace trains between Union Station and Unionville GO, with no service at Milliken, Agincourt, and Kennedy GO stations.

NOTICE: Temporary Water Shut-off to your Property

As part of Edward Street reconstruction, water service will be temporarily shut off from Sunday, June 22 at 9:00 p.m. to Monday, June 23 at 6:00 a.m. Residents and businesses are advised to prepare by storing water in advance and taking precautions to prevent flooding.
