Flags at Half-Mast in Honour of Fallen Police Officers

Flags at the Municipal Office and all Whitchurch-Stouffville Fire Stations have been placed at half-mast in honour of two police officers who recently lost their lives in the line of duty.

Ontario Provincial Police Constable Tarun Bali tragically lost his life while serving his community. Toronto Police Service Const. Marc Pinizzotto, was killed on June 11, 2026, while officers were executing a search warrant in Toronto.

The Town of Stouffville extends its deepest condolences to the families, friends and colleagues of Const. Bali and Const. Pinizzotto, and to all members of the Ontario Provincial Police and Toronto Police Service as they mourn these profound losses.

Their dedication, courage and commitment to public service will not be forgotten.
