Update regarding the resurfacing project on McCowan Road in the Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville.

Description:

  • Paving operations
  • A temporary road closure is required to complete this work

Duration (15 days):

  • Monday, September 14 to Tuesday, September 29, 2026

Impacts to travellers:

  • McCowan Road, from Bethesda Sideroad to Bloomington Road, will be closed at 7 p.m. on Monday, September 14, to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, September 29, 2026 to complete paving
  • Access to homes and businesses will be maintained

As with all road construction projects, work may be rescheduled due to weather or to accommodate other work underway in the area. York Region will provide advance notice whenever possible.
