The Town of Stouffville is undertaking this project to create an updated and actionable framework for economic growth, investment attraction, downtown vitality, and business resilience through 2030. Led by the Canadian Urban Institute, the project will combine research, market analysis, stakeholder engagement, and implementation planning to help align economic development priorities with the Town’s evolving needs and opportunities.

Community and stakeholder input will play an important role in shaping both the Economic Development Strategy and the Downtown Economic Development Roadmap. The project will include opportunities for businesses, community organizations, and other local partners to share their perspectives, priorities, and ideas to help inform the final recommendations.
