Memorial Park Trail Connection
The Town of Stouffville, in partnership with the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA), Parks Canada, and York Region, has built a new trail connection in Memorial Park, west of Thicketwood Boulevard. This project links the multi-use trail on the north side of Park Drive to the Stouffville-Rouge Trail network south of Hoover Park Drive, improving connectivity and access within our community.
Post-Construction Notice
Landscape Restoration: August 10th - 14th
To improve site conditions, additional restoration landscaping work is planned for August 10th and 14th.
Activities will include weed removal, seedbed preparation, and reseeding of disturbed areas, with a particular focus on larger open sections where vegetation coverage remains sparse.
Scheduling has been coordinated with the fall seeding season to provide optimal growing conditions and support the successful establishment of long-term vegetation.
Residents are asked to respect all fencing and stay out of designated work areas to help support the successful establishment and growth of grass, seedlings, and other restored vegetation.
Project Timeline
Construction completed at the end of June 2026. Minor restoration work, including tree and shrub plantings, is planned for later in 2026.
