The Town of Stouffville is initiating a Housekeeping Official Plan Amendment (“Amendment”) to the Town’s New Official Plan, which was approved by the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing on September 25, 2025.
Skate Trail Conditions May Vary as Temperatures Fluctuate
As temperatures begin to fluctuate in March, ice conditions on the Town’s Skate Trail may change quickly. Depending on weather and ice quality, the trail may open or close periodically to ensure the safety of users and to help preserve the ice surface.l Park Skating Trail is now closed for the season due to warm weather.
Construction Notice: Stouffville Road from McCowan Road to Highway 48
Construction is taking place on Stouffville Road between McCowan Road and Highway 48 in the Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville to complete an emergency repair to a leaking watermain. As part of this work, the eastbound lanes will be temporarily closed, with one lane of traffic maintained in each direction.
