Stouffville's Free Summer Events Are Back
The Town of Stouffville announces its summer roster of events with the return of the Stouffville Celebrates Summer Series. Presented by Green Infrastructure Partners (GIP), the series will feature an incredible line-up of free summer concerts and events that will guarantee unforgettable experiences for both locals and visitors alike.

Victoria Day Fun & Holiday Hours
Town facilities will have modified hours over the Victoria Day Holiday, including Town Hall, Leisure Centre, Fitness Centre, WS Public Library, Stouffville Arena, Clippers Arena, 19 On The Park, Museum, and 55+ Club. Join in the fun throughout the weekend with drop-in programs and the Victoria Day Fireworks event.
Town Launches New Administrative Monetary Penalty System to Streamline Resolution Process
The Town of Stouffville has implemented an Administrative Monetary Penalty System (AMPS) to simplify the resolution process for specific by-law violations. AMPS offers an efficient and user-friendly approach, enabling the by-law division to handle Penalty Notices internally, thereby reducing reliance on the Provincial Offences Act and regional court system.
Burkholder Street Weekend Closures from May 3 - September 30
Beginning on Friday, May 3rd, 2024 Burkholder Street between Park Drive and the Leisure Centre Driveway (2 Park Dr) will be closed every weekend through September 30th.
Notice: Passing of By-law - Mansion House Hotel
The Council of the Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville passed By-law 2024-028-DS to designate the following property as a property of cultural heritage value or interest pursuant to the provisions of the Ontario Heritage Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chapter O.18, Part IV, Section 29.
Notice of Public Meeting: Proposed Heritage Conservation Districts
The purpose of this Council Public Meeting on May 15, 2024, is to consider the Heritage Conservation District Plans for Church Street, O’Brien Avenue, and Main Street West, and receive input from the community prior to a final Council decision.

Per the Town’s Procedural By-law, the Regular Council Meeting scheduled on Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at 1 p.m. has been postponed to Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at 1 p.m.
Public Meeting: Proposed Zoning By-law Amendment ZBA24.003
The purpose and effect of the proposed amendments to the Town’s Comprehensive Zoning By-law No. 2010-001-ZO is to create zoning regulations to enable up to (3) dwelling units on fully serviced residential lots (Stouffville Settlement Area). This is required to bring the Town’s Zoning By-law into conformity with Provincial Bill 23, the More Homes Built Faster Act, 2022.
