Edward Street Improvements

The Edward Street Reconstruction Project is a major infrastructure improvement initiative by the Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville. The project includes upgrades to sanitary and storm sewers, watermain infrastructure, sidewalks, street lighting, and hydro poles along Edward Street from Main Street to Millard Street.

In February 2021, an Environmental Study Report was completed to document the Schedule C Class EA process and identify the recommended alternative — a fully urbanized cross-section corridor reconstruction.
